Her Story
Bella is of Armenian origin and was born in Georgia. She lived most of her life in Russia, where she worked as a saleswoman in a butchery she ran with her husband. Unfortunately, he fell severly ill, and Bella and her family decided to move to Switzerland in 2013 to seek treatment for him.

Background
After Bella and her family arrived in Switzerland, her sister encouraged her to reorient her activities and take up cooking – a long-standing passion and a talent she inherited from her mother. Bella knew that the Armenian and Georgian cuisine have become very popular in Russia. In Switzerland however, they are still largely unknown. She thus had the idea to launch a catering service in Lausanne to introduce the Swiss population to Armenian, Georgian and Russian specialities.
«I have always loved cooking and sharing my cuisine. When I invite people and they love what I cook, it really makes me happy. That is why I want to dedicate myself to this job.»
Her project
Bella launched her project «Kavkaz Food», (food of the Caucasus), a few months ago with the help of Alter Start. She now offers a great number of sweet and salted dishes to order. A few examples are featured on her Instagram page «Kavkaz.food». Later on, she would like to settle in a retail outlet where people could also eat on the spot and buy take-away dishes.
