In 2015, IFPD launched a project in Bodhgaya (State of Bihar) with its local partner Agragami. Four key components are being implemented: health, education, vocational training and income generation.

The Bodhgaya Hotel School

A unique combination of a hotel and a school, which provides training in the hospitality sector to underprivileged youth.

Children’s Activity Centres

The activity centres allow children aged between 5 and 14 years to develop their reading skills, imagination and self-expression.

Training & Income Generation

Underprivileged families learn how to increase their income through activities in the field of agribusiness.

Health Education & Capacity Building

Increase the quality of health services and facilitate access to these services.


Pilot program targeted at several sanitary issues.

Support for Childless Women

Research project on infertility and related stigmatization in underprivileged areas in India and Nepal.
